September 15, 2007 saw the start of the first Colorado Classic 1000 - a 1000 mile ride in 24 hours throughout the scenic lands of western Colorado and eastern Utah. Seventy plus riders started at 5:00 a. m. from Lakewood and will end their epic ride at Steamboat Springs.
